About Us
Graf Financial is a fee only Registered Investment Advisory founded in 2010 in Baton Rouge, LA. We specialize in creating individual portfolios tailored towards client objectives. These portfolios are built on the foundation of value based investment principles. We manage portfolios primarily using individual securities purchased at prices that trade below their intrinsic value. Our goal is to meet client needs while enabling the growth of our portfolios through the power of compounding.

Helen E. Graf, CFP®, CDFA®
​Helen began her financial career in 1985 in New Orleans after receiving her Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Helen is currently President of Graf Financial L.L.C. a registered investment advisory firm based in Baton Rouge.
Prior to forming Graf Financial she was the executive vice-president and portfolio manager of Crescent Sterling Ltd. for seventeen years. Earlier in her career she was a portfolio manager for JMC Capital Management for eight years.​ Helen’s extensive experience leads to an application of a sound investment philosophy upon which individualized portfolios are built to withstand a variety of market environments. Her financial planning background produces a tax-sensitive, personal approach to portfolio management and her many years as an operations and compliance officer creates efficient, prudent fiduciary advice in all financial services rendered to the firm's clients.
Her designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®). She is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Louisiana, and has been an officer and past president of the CFA Society of Louisiana. Helen is a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts, the Financial Planning Association, and the Financial Planning Association of Louisiana.

She is also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, New Orleans State Planning Council, American Business Woman’s Association (ABWA), and Capital Area Network.
